Hey, you! We’re the Fraziers. A small family of three (Jess, Hunter, and our puppy Bear) working hard to live our dream of being business owners. When I was 19 and Hunter was 21, we eloped and got married in Hawaii on Shipwreck Beach. At the time I was working as a graphic designer and Hunter was a salesman for a health and fitness company. He was making really good money, but absolutely hated it.

We racked up a lot of debt fast and bought a house and two brand new cars. 

Fast forward a year, I got an email saying I was being let go because of Covid-19.

We always wanted to start a business, so we decided to go for it. Money was tight because of our mortgage and the car payments. After I got laid off, we finally took a step back. We realized we were on the path of working 9-5 the rest of our lives to pay off debt we had rushed into. We decided to sell our house and move in with Hunter’s parents.

Hunter decided to quit his sales job of 4 years. The money wasn’t worth being miserable especially when it would never truly afford us the life of freedom we wanted. Now that we weren’t driving as much we agreed that the best move would be to only have one vehicle, so we sold Hunter’s truck.

With the money we saved and no more debt we were finally able to start Rylan Boutique!

We chose to do a women’s clothing shop because as someone who has battled anxiety and depression my entire life, I’ve learned that wearing an outfit I feel comfortable and confident in can make all the difference. Our clothes might not change the world, but the women who wear them will.
